(1) LISTENERS 2013 The script has been made with a combination of poetry taken from both Bengali and English poems of renowned Poets. The script,which is a tribute to Walter-De-La-Mare's "The listners" have been developed with a vision of potraying a traveller who has seen much war and death and have travelled throughout the whole journey from the world wars to the recent terrorism massacars and train accidents that have cost us so many innocent lives. We have tried to bring around in shadow of the traveller the enormous grief that we ourselves have felt through out these painfully abnormal deaths. However although we have felt sad and cried much we havent been able to raise our voices to protest in fear of maybe another possible war or maybe of another possible death. We have therofore felt that something must be done to stop the felling of these blessed souls. And so here in we bring our traveller, essentially a person carring a part of each one of ours souls to cry out his grief,his pain to the society that has suffered countlessly through these troubled times. We have bled,we have suffered and finally we are prepared to protest, to stand up to death in the hope that better and peacefull days will come.
