UTTORON was started by a group of young men and a lady on the outskirts of kolkata to promote and expand the theatrical dimensions of kolkata. A sudden stroke of mind,a sudden wish of doing something creative and a last effort to leave behind the murky darkness of the ground to rise up to the magically lit up sky of hope, gave birth to this Group. Based on a non-political ground,we started our journey in the hope of emerging as one of the best theatre group of India. This group was first opened on 7th August 2011. The first production was also staged on the same day to thunderous applause.
